afabplacetostay.com started operating in 2007. The principals behind the business are Gordon Forrest and his wife, Leni Rademacher. We started afabplacetostay.com because we believe there is a need for a higher quality of accommodation in the self-catering/short-term letting market in Edinburgh.
Gordon Forrest – spent 30 years working in banking but always wanted to establish a property business in Edinburgh. afabplacetostay.com is a passion as well as a business and Gordon oversees all aspects of the business. No matter what time you arrive Gordon will likely be there to meet you either at one of our apartments or off the train/bus or however you choose to arrive in Edinburgh!
Leni Rademacher – worked as a Social Work Manager for many years but now oversees the housekeeping and maintenance side of the afabplacetostay.com business. If you arrive at one of our apartments early in the day you will likely find Leni there cleaning and preparing the apartment for your arrival.
